An extreme low tide at the beach. Cable Beach's tides add to its fame, with extremes of 9 metres or 29.5 feet, which it was approaching on this day. The beach is so flat though that it is less of a big drop and more a case of the water line reaching further and further back. High tides reach nearly up to the edge of the sand dunes.
