And now, the views we all want to see. First off, the trails and cliffs near Loch Ard Gorge, in between the 12 Apostles and the town of Port Campbell. The entire stretch is where the ocean and salt water have eroded the soft limestone cliffs, creating very dramatic formations.
The seawater crashing on the big stack at right bears an uncanny resemblance to a sea horse, unexpectedly. That stack, the one on the left and the flat one in between are known as the Three Sisters (unrelated), but the middle sister collapsed less than two years ago, in September of 2009.
