    As almost everywhere there are unfortunately poor people in Rijeka also. Photo that I named “Poverty meets wealth” can often be seen in Rijeka. This photo presents two different worlds and the column between these person symbolically separates one world of poverty from another world of wealth. Views[1002] Rijeka is situated in Kvarner bay which is one of the prettiest bay you can see. Beautiful sunset together with clear blue sea and islands in the distance make very picturesque sights every day. Views[418] Fishermen in harbor of Rijeka aren’t strange to see. Depending on the weather, you can always see a trawler coming back to harbour or going to the see in search for some seafood to feed family or maybe to sell it on the market nearby. Here are three men which are checking their nets on a sunny day. Views[360] In the past Rijeka was occupied by many nations, such as Italian,Hungarian etc. This is the lady wearing traditional Austro-Hungarian dress from 19th century. It is a dress that has been worn by women of royal families in former Austo-Hungarian state. Views[568] This is the town called Rijeka (river). It is a town of culture, kind people and fishermen. On the picture is shown Croatian National Theater “Ivan Pl. Zajc” which is second largest in Croatia, after theater in capital city of Croatia, Zagreb. Views[690]
