Rijeka is situated in Kvarner bay which is one of the prettiest bay you can see. Beautiful sunset together with clear blue sea and islands in the distance make very picturesque sights every day.

Fishermen in harbor of Rijeka aren’t strange to see. Depending on the weather, you can always see a trawler coming back to harbour or going to the see in search for some seafood to feed family or maybe to sell it on the market nearby. Here are three men which are checking their nets on a sunny day.

As almost everywhere there are unfortunately poor people in Rijeka also. Photo that I named “Poverty meets wealth” can often be seen in Rijeka. This photo presents two different worlds and the column between these person symbolically separates one world of poverty from another world of wealth.
