The sky is gray and the clouds are getting nearer and darker by the moment ready to tear. in that melancholic day a sat down with my hot cup of coffee in my hand looking through the glass waiting for the storm that was coming our way, " that is going to be a bit storm" said the man on the coffee shop will he was paying the bill in a hurry to get home avoiding this weather, in his way out he give me that wondering smile that said to me " what she doing a lone here?" I mysteriously smiled to him through the glass as he walked by.
Just when my heart with full of that improbable sadness and inpatient tears struggling to come out the sky started to rain and the see hurried up in a big strong wave hugging the rain drops like tow lovers meeting after long time felling the air with their love.
And here I was in the middle of the street moving slowly impressing that rain in my heart letting all the blues washed away.
That was my day in my beloved Alexandrian. I love traveling a lot although that I never had the chance to do it outside off Egypt- my home- till now, but I do believe that at our home there is always a comfort place that you can go too when you need that is Alex to me , and for sure there is nothing like Alex in winter welcoming me with the see breath and warm sun or liberties me with a rainy day that sends me back to the happy days of my chilled-hood when I used to play in the rain.
