My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am Ralf and I love photography. Holding a camera in my hands and using the viewfinder to find the best focus gives me an unique feeling of capturing a moment or perspective that is fleeting and maybe has never been seen like that before. At the age of ten I discovered my passion of photography. My favorite lens gives me strength and satisfaction, because it makes creating photos possible that show more than the eye can see. Sometimes seconds are crucial to an unrepeatable photo. But the landscapes that changes naturally over the time and also through the climate change, make photography exciting and challenging at the same time. I have been thinking about making my hobby my profession. What could be better than earning money with traveling and taking photos? So, the scholarship came up at the right time and I am convinced that taking part in this adventure will bring a great improvement to my skills and my technique. Especially the chance of working with and learning from Jason Edward as a renowned nature photographer seems like an invaluable opportunity. Since I have been dreaming of Greenland all my life, traveling there will be an extraordinary and unforgettable experience.
