    Not too far from Maria's cozy home in the woods is the beautiful beach shore of Bucerias. Here is a sight accustomed to most Mexicans for it is sunny about 280 to 310 days a year. Most people here retire to this scene after a hard days work. by: exploration Views[158] Maria is a grand mother. Her children have all started families elsewhere. Maria's retired husband rests under a cool shade outside their home watching with slight nostalgia as she prepares a meal for us. by: exploration Views[151] In rural parts deep in the jungle of Bucerias, Maria prepares a home made soft taco for weary adventurers passing by. The corn is soaked for 3 days before grinding to a dough with a stone mill. She presses the dough with a home made press and lays the dough on an out door iron plate stove made of stone. She has guacamole, salsa and beans prepped for the tacos. Delicious. by: exploration Views[173] The contractors have to climb and navigate their logs in to design for this roof. A chainsaw is used to finalize the length of such logs from atop. A sudden loss of balance tend to yield a lethal result. by: exploration Views[164] These courageous men work from dawn till late past dusk to erect by hand a roof made from heavy lumber and straw. These men work from such heights with no safety harness or life lines, However they get to enjoy work under clear blue skies. by: exploration Views[300]
