Spent our last LA car day with a stunning drive to Malibu, Zuma - beautiful. Then 6 hours at Union Station and now 6 hours on Mega Bus to San Fran...thank goodness for wifi that's all I can say!

Day 33: Hot tub time machine

Bryce Canyon, Sunset - Sunrise, Queens Garden trail. Thick mud and snow makes for good slip and slide. Thor's Hammer, Queen Victoria, Natural Bridge...but the highlight was the outdoor hot tub. (Kanab)

Headed for Utah, through Monument Valley...So many movies filmed here. Moab - outdoors heaven in summer - kayaking, hiking, mtb, rock climbing, camping. Mike ate 9 slices of pizza at Zax - he regrets nothing.

Surprised Rob for his birthday with a Six Flags adventure!! Mike discovered my love/hate relationship with roller coasters...labour breathing and screaming really help me get through. Got a car too, so feeling free.

Left Echo Park after one more coffee with Bailey. Headed to our new place for 2 nights and Venice Beach. Kids bust'n moves in skate park, cool but seady vibe down here....muscles included.


Day 24: Hollywood

Started the new year with a 6 mile trek to the Hollywood sign. The incline is quick and brutal but it winds around rather close to the back of the letters. We were lucky to have clear weather - view was amazing from the top.
