Moab Roasters before heading to Canyonlands. A precious environment and varied landscape from snow capped mountains, layered-cake rock formations; ending with deep, dark crevasses. Trekked up Whale Rock and talked with locals at Grandview about moonflower and dinosaur fossils. Tested our vocal chords with many a "hee yah!" in Upheavel Dome - the sound echoed and travelled around the mountains back to us! This hike was sketchy at times, almost slipping on snow several times.
