1am must be the perfect time to move a bulldozer around Shanghai, so thats why it was next door - with a truck and 2 guys yelling while shovelling debris. Then the hammering, excavating and drilling continued for most of the morning. We left early to get out of there even though we'd be early for our flight. Turns out it didnt matter because our tickets had the wrong airport on them, so we went to the wrong place to catch our flight! Luckily we were able to switch to a plane that was only 1 hour later....However, that plane ended up being delayed 2 hours. When we arrived, our bags were delays. We ended up arriving in Hong Kong around midnight. The trip from the airport could not have been easier and we arrived in our accommodation easily.
