Woke to the musical sounds of the traffic: car horns and traffic. Good morning Beijing. Music drowns this out as we managed to get onto Spotify and discovered the Chili Peppers have a new album. Mike and I walked around the city for about 6 hours today...just strolling in the drizzle. Second night market: a crazy one including scorpions, bugs, grasshoppers and spiders. The very adventurous Sarah, Paul, Nikki, Iva and Mitchell (mike's twin) tried the scorpion...but I wasn't game and mike didn't feel up to it either, so he had some stinky tofu instead.
