What better way to enjoy our last day on tour than a trip to the Great Wall. We entered a part of it at Jinshanling, not many tourists and very enjoyable. We walked a good 10km, up gigantic steps and running up parts that were like ramps. plus it was a clear day and not too hot, so perfect for pictures and good hiking. We especially loved the hidden salesmen (hiding in the towers away from the cameras) offering "beeru, cola, watta, oucecreamo". Lots of posing, jumping, selfie stick action, good fun. Mike and I enjoyed a late night walk while sipping on a strawberry smoothie. The little alley ways are my favourite with traditional shop fronts and quaint little houses with red lanterns.
