Took a stroll around the tiny town of Flam. Lots of tourists come in either by bus or cruise ship and head out to the valley of Flam - Angela did it when she was 21, sending photos of her old photos. Hope you enjoyed the trip down memory lane Ang :) She also saw a segment on Channel 9 about architecturally designed lookouts in Norway - fancy that. Infact the picture she sent was of the very lookout we were heading to that day: Stegastein (and no it's not a dinosaur). Amazing views of the deep aqua water of the fjord, down into the green valley and across to the snow-capped mountains. Ahhh Norway, it's breathtaking. Today's POD shows the glass end so you can see down to the water. Today was actually a day of records too. Firstly, we had to have been winding up and down THE thinnest road in the world. one wrong move and you're toast, rolling down the cliff. Secondly, we drove through the world's longest underground tunnel at a crazy distance of 24km! To make it interesting they have put coloured lights at certain points along the way so it's not all...dark. Stopped in at Odin - a quaint camp ground on the lake. Mike was happy because he got to make a bonfire as we watched the 10pm sun set over the water in front of us and the pie in the sky rise over the mountains behind us.
