I finally worked out how to make coffee then we got on the bikes. There are ten boroughs surrounding Amsterdam Central and I plan to explore each and every one. Today was NDSM. A derelict shipyard-turned-edgy art community, just a short ferry ride over the Ij. Bustling with artists' cooperatives in converted factory building, hangars and shipping containers. So much graf and gritty cool stuff so I was snapping the camera for most of the time. Art City seemed a cool way for creatives to work collaboratively and we saw at least three photoshoots and a music video being shot while we were there. Biggest flea market happens here this Saturday and Sunday so I'm coming back for sure. Mike went to see Captain America...I didn't because I think it sucks...and surprise! it did. I stayed home and made clay dinosaurs for some stop motion practice hahaha, they were an ok first attempt.
