Day 50 v2: Huaca

PERU | Thursday, 17 March 2016 | Views [271]

Started the day at Kennedy Park, where cats hang...? and I don't mean cool
cats. Mike found himself the lucky participant in a social experiment (which he
bloody lives for) about keeping the parks clean. It was sort of like a candid camera
setup because guy walks past us, dramatically drops his empty bottle. Mike and I
look at each other with WTF faces and when Mike picks up the bottle and bins it a
second guy (with microphone) comes running over explaining the whole thing.
Next we went to an old pyramid ruin right in the city, close to the coast Huaca
Pucllana. Built by the Lima people. We paid entry and it included a guided tour.
Mike, I and another aussie were the only people so it was perfect. Stumbled upon
Mira Flores' "Love Park" right on the coast....the lovely green rose between the
desert Lima thorn and had dinner at Tanta at Larcomar. centre.
