a new cafe and discovered that to be a good writer just start by writing about your observations.

The swell kicked on in SJDS today and was coming in much bigger. I headed to Hermosa Beach with the Good Times surf crew. I love surfing with Nicaraguans because they whistle, cheer and encourage everyone. A big contrast to surfing at home where everyone is quiet. The waves were awesome and I had what was probably the best session of my life so far. A day I will never forget! While chilling out waiting for my ride back I was hanging in a hammock on the beach. Just as I thought 'it would suck if this broke' it snapped and I hit my back on the ground. Ouch!
Meanwhile...
E took a handstand class at the Yoga studio. No one else showed up so she had the instructor all to herself with one other girl who works there. She was giving me some tips in the evening on how to improve. Unfortunately I was too sore from the day to try any of them.
