Very touristy of us today, we hit Lincoln Memorial, White House, Washington Needle and Pentagon. Took advantage of the bike share thing, seeing as though it was $7 for the day in half hour blocks. We crossed over into Virginia in Pentagon city with the assumption that at the hill where the Air Force sculpture is set one can see a top view of the Pentagon....that is unfortunately incorrect but DC cityscape looks great from there. Quote of the day: guy in a wheel chair singing his lunch song "I"m hungry, I needs some chicken waaaings", we loved it so much we had to video ourselves saying it as not to forget. Delicious dinner at Adams Morgan - Amsterdam Falafel, "squash your balls", cool workers there and met crazy Susan who told us 5 times that DC doesn't have any decent Indian restaurants.
