On the road again

Day 59: Holy Cannoli

So we woke today to soft, chunky snow. A light dusting that encouraged me to stay in bed until midday...then headed out. Laughed at the Bawston accent with a guy from the visitor centre, who gave us a map and a hot cannoli tip. Modern Pastry is down in the main Italian district and it was everything we could have imagined and more - I had ricotta, chocolate dipped, almond flavour and Mike enjoyed custard, chocolate dipped, pistachio - yeah!!!! Strolled the market place and an excellent comic store and found what we could of the Freedom Trail; following it downtown and towards the harbor. It was a BITTER cold -6 ,but were cheery and how cool was all the snow on the pier?
