I've officially started my backpacking experience by checking into a backpackers - go figure. I'm in the London version of Sydney's Kings Cross... I know, what was I thinking!! Bit of an issue at check-in... Apparently didn't have what I booked (12 bed mixed dorm) so I've been moved to a 4 bed girls dorm (supposedly better - I think not). But can't complain.... I'm in the centre of London, 5 minutes away from a station that could take me to Paris in less than 2 hours!
Bonus of today - discovered an app that gives me a free beer each day... Just got to get to the pub. Currently trying a Japanese beer for the first time - I have yet to actually find my two regular British beers but I'm on the look out!
