So yesterday after cruising the Thames - past the Houses of Parliament, Tower of London, Tower Bridge - I made my way to Greenwich. After taking the the climb up the Royal Observatory hill I was able to stand one foot in the east, one in the west on the Prime Meridian Line of the world (for £7 of course - but after that climb how could you not pay! Somehow it's just not the same staring through the bars 6ft away from the line!). I was also ablamass photograph some amazing views of London from up there - even glimpsing St Paul's Cathedral.
Today is my last night in South Ealing - I'm finally off to do some real backpacking in the centre of London. I'll keep you posted!
