My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Jurema Sagrada, religious ritual in the Tririca dos Crioulos. During slavery time in Brazil, blacks who managed to escape formed communities called Quilombo. In the Serra do Arapuá, has formed the Quilombo Tiririca dos Crioulos. In the 1940s a black man named Manoel Madeiro, married the Indian Isaura and were living in the Tririca dos Crioulos. Thus, has begun a mix of races that resulted in this Indigenous-Quilombo in which worships the Jurema Sagrada and Toré (Indian tradition) and religions from Africa.
