These photos were taken in "Smokey Mountain" in Manila, a giant dump made out of trash that has accumulated over the years. The pile has grown so big that communities have started living on top of it. "Smokey Mountain" has become a source of work for the communities as residents scavenge everyday there to look for things of value they may sell. In this photo, a group of residents busily look for pieces of trash they can sell later on.
