Having a harmonious bond with nature sometimes means that you shouldn't look down when crossing enormous chasms between towns

There are drastic differences in how the Nepalese interact with nature compared to many people from my own country. These women thresh massive stacks of grain for hours under a relentless sun in Bhaktapur to prepare a meal that I could easily buy at a store at home

Living off of the land is strenuous and all members of a family contribute to the daily work. This woman gathers lumber for cooking and heating purposes during the frigid mountain nights
