Most expensive tea produced in Sri lanka. " Virgin White tea".
Produced at the Handungoda Tea Factory in southern province. Only 10 kilos of tea produced a year and all ten kilos are purchased by " Marriage Freres international, Paris, France"
This tea is produced completely untouched by hands. It follows ancient Chinese ritual and cut with scissors in to a bowl.
It is said a kilo of this tea cost 1500 US$.
