Asia's beauty

My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited - Thailand October 2012

Chiang Mai is considered to be Thailand's second capital. It certainly does not disappoint in terms of beauty and culture. We have already seen that nature is being preserved as best as it can be, but what about the Buddhist culture.

Well it is in its abundance as you walk around the city. The temples are intermingled amongst the modern day shops and cafes. The fantastic thing is that modern life does little to detract away from the ostentatiousness of the temples. This is particularly the case when you have a background of a pure blue sky, which serve only to complement the colours, the details and the authenticity of hard work and labour for a religion and a way of life.
