sunshine. and hibiscus flowers. and the beach.
but more than anything else, you guys. my disappointment at leaving germany and my ambivalence about being back in australia have been cushioned beautifully by the warm embraces, happy smiles and loving text messages i've shared this week with some of the most beautiful people in this whole freakin' country. i hope it's true that you can judge a person by the company they keep, because i think the calibre of the people in my life here says good things about me :-)
to those of you i've already seen, it was AWESOME. thankyou. and to those of you who are in next week's diary pages, i'm SO looking forward to it. and to those of you i haven't managed to connect with yet, let's do that soon. it's so amazing to see you all again, it feels like it's been much longer than 2 months. you make being in australia feel good.
