La granadina
It's the spring semester of my junior year, so I am celebrating with un gran viaje filled with classes (unfortunately) and crazy foreign fun.
¡A Toledo!

Arcadia explores España! Obviously, considering our past adventures together, we began this one by staying out late the night before. We rock so much at life. It wasn’t bad, though, cuz five hour bus rides were made for snoozing, and the thirteen of us arrived safely in Toledo with Mama C (Christine) and Martín (our weird bus driver)! Toledo’s a pretty, hilly, cobblestone-y city, smaller than Granada and west of Madrid. We went to probably a million churches, all no photos allowed, so that was disappointing. There were some amazing bits of mudéjar architecture (a crazy Muslim-Christian-Jewish mix of styles unique to Spain), but again, no pictures. Sad. The university dorm was nice, the food was tasty, and the view was amazing. We climbed out our windows to eat our bocadillos on a long balcony that looked out over all the green. Muy bonito. Pretty views, pretty crafts, pretty swords, but not much aside from the turism. It was a study abroad option, but I’m glad I picked Granada.
