what to say? wasn't expecting to get on the net just now. are currently in Nelson, just left our last wwoofing place. Actually, helped Cat, one of the previous wwoofing host's daughters (24 yrs old) housesit, on our private beach, where we watched movies, went kayaking, checked out an amazing rock face to climb, went 4-wheeling, had beautiful meals outside listening to the waves & birds, etc. we'll probably see her again when she heads down to Fox Glacier, where she used to guide, in Feb. what an interesting person she is, has traveled all over the place, phenomenal rock climber, etc, etc. will have to pontificate later, just wanted to let you know that we haven't fallen off the edge of the earth, though close enough sometimes!
are now deciding whether we want to wait for the apple picking to start mid-Feb near Nelson, or head south, or what. will write more later, I'm sure!
