The emerald colored crater lake at the top of Mt Ruapehu is a sight that makes the trek well worth it. The volcano on Mt Ruapehu erupts on average of every 10-20 years. Which makes witnessing sights such as this even more exhilarating.

New Zealand seems to have alot of industry revolving around its many ports & harbours. Constant activity with logs being loaded onto huge ships, trucks driving up and down, cranes moving from side to side, I managed to climb up and get this birds eye perspective over one of the South Islands busy ports. I sat and watched for a good hour as the activity's went on like a miniature town below.
