The Abel Tasman

NEW ZEALAND | Sunday, 11 January 2015 | Views [425] | Comments [1]

This morning I left early for the bus to Kaiteriteri.  I then joined a half day guided kayak from Kaiteriteri to the Split Apple Rock and back.  The weather was again perfect, really hot and sunny.  We had tea and biscuits on the beach and the wind picked up a little for our return so we had a few waves to contend with. I then spent the afternoon sunbathing at the beach in Kaiteriteri and having a lovely swim out to the pontoon.

Later I got a bus to Marahau were I stayed the night at the Barn Backpackers.  A lovely spot right by the start of the Abel Tasman Track.
