The weather is predictable in this part of Colombia, near Santa Marta. It almost always was sunny in the morning, drisly in the early afternoon, and absolutely pissing down from the late afternoon until late at night. Here, we can see the gathering clouds caused by the rising thermals in the humid air. Convection currents at work, generating Cumulous clouds that develop in Cumulonimbus storm clouds, which generally climax with rain, thunder and lightning. The boys started calling me Cloud Boy during the early stages of the trip, and I guess now you can probably start to see why!
