    A young girl observing the remaining of an old neighborhood through the gates. She probably never lived in such a neighborhood and is just walking past, ignoring how life could have been before. Like many others she will just walk past and concentrate on the future rather than memories of the past in order to live a An old man contemplating an abandoned neighborhood which has been used by local youth as canvas for tags. He may have lived there in the past or like many others just wandering around. It is still unknown what will happen to this place after that the company which was supposed to renovate it went bankrupt over corruption charges. (Analog photo) by: dypiem Views[240] A worker walks through the ruins of a once thriving community. He is actually living in one of the houses at the back. Indeed these houses are still up in order to be used as A worker and kids on a demolition site with the future to come on the horizon. Right in the heart of the cities in China you can find these huge demolition sites. Playground for some, opportunities or regrets for others. Probably none of the people on this photo will ever be able to afford to live on what is going to be built here. (Analog photo) by: dypiem Views[203] It is common in China for people not to want to leave their soon to be demolished house. This old lady is still living in it. The Chinese character for Demolition is painted on the walls. The urban growth is so high that old must make space for the new despite the protests.
