The origin of the zoological parks goes as far back to 2500 BCE. Modern zoos born as aristocrats menageries sparked human fascinations for wild animals. Today, zoos entartain and educate the public running conservation projects alongside. Unfortunately private menageries still exist. This indochinese leopard is housed in a park that as little as 18 months ago was called the “Zoo of Horrors” by a Cambodian newspaper.
