Pakson ::: Laos

LAOS | Sunday, 8 February 2009 | Views [1137]

Our day ride on the bikes was fantastic.  We road up to the plateau and stopped at a waterfall for most of the afternoon.  I was beautiful.  That night we stayed at one of the only few guesthouses they had in the area.  It was cold since we were at 1200 elevation so the locals made a campfire for us.  So we sat around drinking beer by the fire until everyone decided to call it a day,   In the morning we woke the owner showed us that he had two gibbins (which are like monkeys) out back.  The sound these animals make is crazy, it sounds like a car alarm going off.  I took videos just so people could hear the sounds these little guys make.  After having breakfast at the restaurant the borlaven guesthouse owners own and taking loads of pictures of them and the baby we headed back out on the bikes to tadlo.
