Can Tho to Chau Doc

VIETNAM | Thursday, 1 January 2009 | Views [500]

Needless to say we all got up about an hour late including the guys. No worries go slowly our boat will be waiting. We did make the market I think some of us slept on the way. One boat gave us some free pineapple not the first thing you want to put in your body after a night of drinking. This was our last day with the guys and we just basically road to the boarder and they set us up with a hotel. It was now time for them to leave. Some of us cried cause it was sad to say goodbye to them. It was like having 5 really cool chill dads with us for the past 8 days. We did not have to worry about anything from what to eat to where to stay. They took care of everything and excellent care for us. They truly are the sweetest gentlest fun guys we could not have asked for a better time. Since we now were on our own we kinda didn’t know what to do we were there for the night and would catch our boat to Cambodia in the am. That night we went to the local market where again I got my hair pulled many times…makes me laugh. We also met this female monk who had a vegetarian food cart of the streets where we sat and had a great meal. We then called it a night and got ready to head to Cambodia in the am.
