We are busy packing final items for our 2018 pilgrimage. You'd think it would take less time to pack light, but we've been at it for hours. Must take just the right things and very few of those! Jeff is still trying to force-fit a favorite pillow into his backpack! We leave Phoenix tomorrow about 7:30 and arrive the next day in Pamplona about 10 a.m.--via Philadelphia and Madrid. We will travel by car from Pamplona to St. Jean Pied de Port, France where our walk begins, after a rest day--during which we always walk about 10 miles around the city. Don't want to miss anything, since we've never been to France!
