He is poor but happy; he goes to a learning center. He is camera-shy but I managed to have him trade his million dollar smile for a candy.

He is below the poverty line and is picking up his mother's 'profession'. He is learning to beg. He and his sister look at tourists with hope in their eyes. I look at him and hope that India has a better future in store for hm.

The two kids play at the children's park in Phnom Penh while their mother (in the background) sells refreshments outside. I wonder what their future holds; would they end up as hawkers too?
