The agricultural worker.
As soon as the day has barely started to dawn at five in the morning, people begin to flock onto a square on the outskirts of Bhubaneshwar, carrying wicker baskets full of work tools on their heads. The square is home to an unusual market, with no stalls or goods. Here, people sell their labor to work in the fields. Once a customer arrives, they pick up their simple tools and leave to work the entire day under the hot Indian sun.
