Living in Eden ipam Phake is a Buddhist village in a very remote area of eastern Assam, India.They came to Assam in 1850 from Thailand.Now though they feel proud to be an Assamese, still they use their own language & culture.All the people are very friendly & helpful.I

These five photographs are all about the day to day life of a village, Tipam Phake, which is situated at the very remote part of eastern Assam, India.Tipam Phake is a Buddhist village where all of villagers came from Thailand .They came to Assam in 1850.I stayed there ( in their village) & took some of the photographs which can depict their day to day life.
