THE Trip - Finally

A farmer's work is never done

Yesterday and today was spent piling wood for winter use (ie in fires) - something I've never had to think about ... ever. My back is sore, my arms are sore but I'm in considerably good spirits. I guess that's what fresh air and manual labour give you - an inability to dwell too much on the noise inside your head because you're too busy utilising your muscles (or lamenting their lack).

Shelia, the lamb, is growing daily. Now we just have to convince the dogs and her, that she is not in fact a dog. She follows me around everywhere and I've convinced farmer John to get her a lead so I can take her on walks with me. Only a few more days to go unfortunately until I'll be moving on, but that's what it's all about. Travelling around, meeting new people and seeing new places. And, at the moment, trying to do a bloody online TESOL course so I can hopefully pick up some paid work. Travel aint cheap kiddies!
