Quick message to say I have arrived!!! Flights were non eventful and I seem to have avoided jet leg and found myself crossing times zones and still feeling human! after not having opted for airport collection set about getting the bus to my first port of call rio surf and stay.... After an offer from a shoe shiner to shine my very minging trainers and successfully getting my first bus, I of course got lost on the second one!!! Ended up getting a free second bus and a taxi to here (surf camp) and staying in a dorm room with some nice people and a surf lesson to look forward to in the morning xxx will update after my first week of travelling but at least I found the first stop!!! Rio srems very chilled from this view point xxx will figure photos on next blog xxx love deb
