Parma

We jumped on the train to Parma home to Parmigiano-Reggiano also known in English as Parmesan. It is a strange city as the museums are only open in the mornings. Disappointing for our day trip. Tourist information was not very friendly but we got a map from them and wandered over to the cathedral. not much on the outside but the inside is full of beautiful frescoes. I was really impressed. We wandered around and found that while it was a nice city is did not have an individual vibe. It feels quite relaxed but so are many other cities. We were quite disappointed about the strange museum times so did not stay, we did not eat their cheese and caught the next train back to La Spezia.
We restocked for our trip to Turin tomorrow and had our last pizza from our friendly pizza place.
