    the basics summary since this W^%#*(%#& blog ate my fat entry. been to easter island. excellent. went via auckland - santiago to get there 21hrs flying. Had a great time. stayed at Camping Minihoa for 6 days. Nice and right near the water. Plenty of walking, lots of ahu, maui etc. Got rained out one day. Plenty of interesting people. Now at Santiago and heading to Quito tomorrow. Maybe heading to Galapagos islands....

    I'm fine thanks!! Glad to hear you have hit the ground running. Is lonely here, but I am sitting in front of my computer with a cup of tea eating one of your muffins (one of the last ones!!)

    All is sorted with the car. I even have new number plates (couldn't tell you what they are). It is a beast of a car, but running perfectly.

    Keep on trucking and look forward to reading some more updates.
