    There seems to be an omnipresent aspect of identity definition within the country. Who you are is defined by your job, what you wear, what music you listen to, the cigarettes you smoke and a whole range of other lifestyle choices. Fitting in or standing out seems to be important aspects of defining who you are in such large metropolises. For a split second in time these people’s lives cross paths on - what is fittingly - one of the busiest intersections in the world. by: davewell Views[364] Many travelers to Japan will comment on the underpinning cleanliness and efficiency to which the country operates. The train systems are a point of pride for the Japanese and easy way for travelers to appreciate the modern facets of Japanese culture. Is this man just another cog in the machine? A common site amongst residents is younger generations attending traditional events in their Kimonos whilst periodically checking their I-Phones or listening to the latest J-Pop hits. Outside the hustle and bustle of inner city life, a lone worker sweeps the first evidence of autumn from an inner city park. by: davewell Views[227] Japan has long since harboured a reputation for being a nation of hard workers. Employees continue their occupation way past western knock off times and many have very little spare time outside their work and home life.
