Overwhelmed by curiosity, the little boy runs away from his mother and gets up as close as possible to catch a better look of the western passerby. Children anywhere in the world are alike and curious, but the door serves as a metaphor, blocking him from the western tourists and their carefree lifestyle.

In the small Indian village of Tordi Sagar, a little girl helps with the daily chores. In the eyes of a western tourist the simplicity of the lifestyle can seem appealing, an escape from the stress of our modern world, where simple things like fetching water almost takes the form of a graceful dance.

Exhausted after a long day at work, the guide enjoys a quick rest with his camel before the long return journey back home. Although tired, there is no hint of unhappiness about his simple career as a camel guide.
