Mid Level Escalators

HONG KONG | Saturday, 29 September 2007 | Views [346]

The mid level escalators take you from Central up to the higher ground in Hong Kong. As you travel up you get a pretty good view of some of the streets in that area and get to see in the back windows of a lot of shops, restaurants, etc, which is quite interesting. The area around the mid level escalators is called Soho and is a mix of trendy bars, restaurants and craft shops.

Some places where I thought were good to eat are:

The Flying Pan ( www.the-flying-pan.com ), great for all day breakfast

The Phoenix  ( http://www.hkdining.com/phoenix/), great for a cold beer near to the top of mid level escalators, nice food too.

Jashan ( http://www.dininginthailand.com/jashan-hk.asp ), nice Indian food
