Norway - Xmas 07

NORWAY | Thursday, 27 December 2007 | Views [563]

Well what better way to do your first christmas away from home than a white one! had an excellent crew of people who headed over to norway from london and denmark, to saty with rach and diccon in oslo. Was sooo cool, snowed on us the first day we wer there, coming in from the aiport - everything was white and we were all stuck up to the window!

Stayed at rach and diccons for tewo nights while we sorted out food and gear to takeon our trip! and what a trip!!" we headed out in two fully laden vehicles, into the wilderness - well it felt like it! took us four hours in land from oslo to our log cabin - yip a real log cabin, by the lake! half frozen!! spent an excellent 5days there doing heaps of stuff, skiing xmas day, making snow men, cooking, walking up hills thru snow to see stunning views, cross country skiing, drinking mulled wine, cooking, opening prezzies, playing cards, reading byt he fire, drinking, cooking, sledding, ice skating, hurling, cooking, toasting marshmallows, drinking. was excellent!!

Was great being so far away from any big towns, all ten of us got on well and was so easy! there was a town about 15min away where we could get supplies if we needed them, but we were all cosied up in our cabin!
