Unfortunatly over night lots of the group had fallen ill. i think it was a mix of altitude sickness and reactions to foreign food. On the u[pside however i was feeling much better so all was good for me.
One of the people that fell ill was the Co-Driver so this allowed a few of us to take turns in the cab. this was wicked fun as you have an amazing view and the scenery was fantastic. We arrived in Cusco at 5 so had time to chill out and have a wander around.
In the evening we went for a cheep mexican (you cant eat local all the time) and then off to Paddy's Irish Bar (OOOOh Yeah !!).
The next day we had a day ion cusco to ourselfs so we wandered around Cusco and rented a walking pole ready for the Inca Trail tomorrow. After lunch I headed back to the hotel anmd found a message from a guy i used to work with (Ed) to meet up so i headed back into town and had a drink with him. It was pretty cool to catch up with someone from Bristol all the way over in Cusco.
