And
we're back on the road heading further Nth... Our 5 hour bus ride
from Hoi An to Hue is one of the most beautiful as we drive along a
great ocean road and weave up a beautiful mountain pass.. The views
were spectacular..
We arrived in Hue and didn't get up to much for
the rest of the day. Feeling a little guilty the next morning we were
out and about early with a visit to the imperial city...
During
Vietnam's history Hue was once the capital and in the middle of the
city stands the magnificent Citadel – where the throne of the
Emperor still remains today.
It was a beautiful imperial city however
in dyer need of restoration... We were amazed to find a few elephants
walking within the walls...
We
killed the afternoon playing pool in a little restaurant around the
corner from our hotel in anticipation for our last overnight train to
the capital Hanoi (12 hour journey Nth!!)
