My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I have had an immense desire for photography, and for over two years now I have pursued it seriously. I am 28 years old, and self-taught in this craft—mainly from online tutorials. I'd really love to be mentored by a professional like Jason Edwards; to get an insight on how to compose an impartial story just by the photo itself. Living in the Philippines, I am used to a very hot weather; and having experienced winter in Australia, I can also adapt to a very cold climate. I am not afraid of living in the wild, I like taking photos in unconventional angles, and I deal well with people. You can give me any task and I assure it will get done without being a headache to Mr. Edwards. I expect that to be chosen entails a lot of work—late nights and early morning ventures, but these things are exactly what I want to do to the best of my ability, and I enjoy the process. I am physically fit—I go to the gym, I run, I am not choosy about food, and I can sleep anywhere. I want to share with other people things they otherwise would not see in their life if not through photography. This scholarship will change my life as a photographer, and what I can learn from Mr. Edwards will be gold to me.
